About
Sound that brings emotion and dimension to the story
My name is Gabriela Lopez, and I am a Sound Design student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. From a young age, I developed a deep fascination with music and always dreamed of becoming part of the music world. When I discovered that I could pursue a degree closely connected to music, I made the decision to attend SCAD.
Throughout my studies, I discovered the world of Sound Design and its incredible depth and versatility. I became especially fascinated by creating sound for film and using it to bring emotion and dimension to visual storytelling. Through this experience, I have come to understand that music is only one part of what sound can accomplish.
I am excited to continue exploring the endless possibilities of sound and to contribute to creating unique and immersive audio experiences, particularly within film and the Latin community.

How I collaborate
I bring creativity and sensitivity to every project, starting from the story: what each scene needs to feel, and how sound can carry it. From there I handle the detail work, cleaning and syncing dialogue, recording Foley to picture, editing effects and balancing everything into a mix that supports the film.
I'm always looking to keep growing across different areas of sound, and I welcome collaborators who want to explore what sound can do for their project.
